Earthsense - My Life's Work
Earthsense is my life's work.
I founded Earthsense back in 1978 to research herbal cures for serious diseases and general health and skin conditions.
It all started when during my research for my PhD, I was a feature in a local newspaper, in which I was appealing for people to fill out a detailed questionaire on their 'out of body' experiences. I was researching for a doctorate degree in State Specific Science, the science of altered states of consciousness in relation to parapsychological phenomenon.
On volunteer who kindly offered to fill out my questionaire was alady by the name of Mable Wood who was the chairwoman of the Merseyside Yoga Association.
Mable, was aware of my medical background, as a former trained nurse, and she asked me if I would mind doing something to help her, she was buying very expensive supplies of Juniper Oil to dispense into 1ml phials which she sold at a loss to elderly people suffering from severe arthritis. Mable asked if I could find a way of making this oil cheaper but stronger!
This sounded like a tall order and I was not fully conversant at that time with the healing properties of herbs or essential oils made from herbs.
I promised Mable that I would look into this next time I was in the central lending library in Liverpool city centre.
Two weeks later I was indeed, in the said library and with some time to spare having scanned the books on Out of Body experiences I had planned to work on, I asked the librarian to direct me to the section dealing with phytotherapy.
I picked up a book called "The Healing Power of Herbs" by May Bethel, (1968) (Wiltshire Book Co, California). I started reading this wonderful book, which I have to say was seriously addictive and for me a life changing experience, I was hooked on herbalism!
I took many books home from the libary that day, they had to kick me out as I was in there until they were closing, not having realised how long I had been there... all day!
I managed to find a way of making aromatic oils cheaper but stronger and Mable was of course delighted as she was unable to have continued losing money, underselling the previous supplies of Juniper Oil to elderly people whose low incomes could not meet the cost of this oil collectively.
Earthsense was born as a result!
I went to train with a Medical Herbalist in Liverpool's prestigeous Rodney Street (Liverpool's equivalent to London's Harley Street).
I finally graduated with 5 diploma's in alternative medicine with the BSY Group.
Herbalism - BSYA (Herb).
Iridology- BSYA( Irid)
Reflexology - BSYA (Reflex)
Auriculartherapy - BSYA (Auric)
Professional Stress Consultant (MASC).
In 1981 I lost a dearly loved Great Aunt who died from Colorectal Cancer and my brother from a Brain Tumour.
I was devasted and in their memory started researching a cure for Cancer from herbs.
I put a formula together and left it to mature in the making jar.
In 1984 I was given just a month to live from a cancerous tumour in my neck. I refused ALL conventional medical treatment from surgery to Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy, and decided that I would test my Cancer Formula.
It worked!
I was told by the hospital that I had been under to write to the Imperial Cancer Research Fund about my formula.
I did!
But to my disappointment I received a letter back stating:
"We are doctors and scientists of 'orthodox medidcal science', therefore we do not have the expertise to test your 'un-orthodox' formula. However we would be interested in your published findings".
I enquired at University what these woudl cost they asked me if I had a blank cheque book in my purse"!
So the formula was left on a shelf and I was frustrated that it could be saving countless lives and instead due to lack of funding it had to remain un-known about.
But then several friends approached me asking if they could have some for their relatives dying from Cancer, they agreed to try it and they are still alive today, as with myself.
In 1996 a local web designer heard of this having lost both of his parents to Cancer and he was just 31 and left distressingly without his parents. He offered to put Earthsense on the Internet, creating a web site for me.
That was the international launch of Earthsense and I was soon swamped with people wanting to buy the then range of 17 herbal tinctures.
I have always ploughed the profits back into making more formulae and researching more cures. Earthsense is a non-profit making organization for the good of all.
In 1997 I hit the headlines when I launched a major project to build the UK's first hospital for Complementary Medicine as a charitable instution, allowing everyone to access all forms of alternative medicine, and not just those who can afford it.
Since then my range of herbal formulae have vastly expanded into a growing range of herbal tinctures and massage creams.
I personally hand blend all of the massage creams and make all of the tinctures and formulae to prescription standard, but making them safely available 'over the counter' so that if people have already been diagnosed with a condition by their doctor, they do not need to pay for a consultation with a herbalist in order to get any prescription standard herbal medicines, thus saving money.
I do however offer telephone health consultations and the proceeds of these help futher my research and enable to me expand the range to help more and more people.
I used only 100% organic herbs and ingredients of the highest quality, free from all chemicals, and pollution and made in a non-geopathically stressed environment, energised by healing crystals and in the heart of the Lancashire countryside away from heavy enviromental pollution.
For over 30 years my formulae have helped millions of people, who have seen safe, fast results without any of the harmful adverse reactions/side effects which are found from taking prescribed drugs.
I am now about to bring out a very exclusive range of 'honest to goodness' 'best of both world's' beauty products which will heal as well as beautify the skin.
All of my products have an anti-aging and life preserving quality and they can sustain good health as well as restoring you to optimum health.
Most herbal tincture manufacturers dilute their tinctures before they are bottled for sale, some 1 part tincture to 1,000 parts water, others 1 part tincture to 100 parts water so the results are far slower but you buy more of these products which keeps people in business or course!
I do NOT dilute my herbal tinctures at all, they go out un-diluted from making and they are very strong and yet safe, so you nedd not take them for as long as you might others on the market, and so you save money, so whilst my tinctures are not the cheapest on the market, they are the most effective and also the best value for money. They also have an indefinate shelf life too!
I make my tinctures to a unique and personally researched method making them very different to all others on the market which tend to be more standardized and as a result less effective until you have taken them over a fair period of time.
